Cultivation

Raffaelo is suitable for all soil types used for asparagus cultivation. The recommended planting density is between four and six plants per linear metre, depending on the soil type and cultivation intensity. Raffaelo is particularly well suited to high-quality asparagus production in the second half of the season.

Product

Raffaelo asparagus is straight, smooth, and has excellent tip closure. Raffaelo is not susceptible to snapping and has uniform grading with a high proportion between 20 and 28 mm. The proportion of grooved, hollow, and crooked stems is low. With all these positive characteristics, Raffaelo offers a high percentage of class 1 stems.

Foliage

Raffaelo has medium-height, stable foliage. It has strong resistance to diseases affecting the foliage.
